“Bullet Train” — Check out the Latest Trailer Online!

Stuntman-turned action movie auteur, David Leitch has been behind the steering wheel of some big hits since co-directing “John Wick” with his fellow stunt veteran Chad Stahelski.

These have included “Atomic Blonde”, “Deadpool 2”, and “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw”, and now, he’s gearing up for his next action-packed blockbuster “Bullet Train”.

With the movie set to hit theaters on August 5, a new trailer for “Bullet Train” has also been released, which you can see below!

Brad Pitt stars as the Assassin “Ladybug”

“Bullet Train” stars Brad Pitt as an assassin working under the codename of “Ladybug” and given the mission of lifting a briefcase off of a speeding bullet train in Japan. However, Ladybug will face a challenge in the train having other, competing assassins onboard also in pursuit of the same prize.

Pitt is joined in “Bullet Train” by an ensemble that includes Michael Shannon, Emily Browning, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Andrew Koji, and Hiroyuki Sanada.

As the trailers above clearly show, a huge amount of training and prep, equal to that of any “John Wick” movie, went into putting “Bullet Train” together. David Leitch hasn’t lost his touch in polishing stunts and fight scenes to their absolute finest either, and “Bullet Train” looks like it could be home to some of 2022’s best.

Martial Arts Fans: Look Out for Andrew Koji and the legendary Hiroyuki Sanada!

For martial arts fans, the big stars of “Bullet Train” are, of course, Andrew Koji and Hiroyuki Sanada. Andrew broke out as Ah Sahm in the series “Warrior”, based on the concept originally developed by none other than Bruce Lee, and later brought great villainous gravitas to Storm Shadow in “Snake Eyes: G. I. Joe Origins”.

Hiroyuki Sanada’s work in action movies goes back to time immemorial, including Hong Kong movies like “Royal Warriors”, “The Last Samurai” with Tom Cruise, and even as Scorpion in last year’s reboot of “Mortal Kombat”. As fate would have it, opportunity would also knock twice for Mr. Sanada boarding the upcoming “John Wick: Chapter 4” (along with other big action movie stars) after having to sit out “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum”.

Though Andrew Koji and Hiroyuki Sanada are the veteran martial artists of “Bullet Train”, the evident training of the whole cast really shines through in both trailers, right up to its leading man.

Brad Pitt, at near 60 years-old Pulls Out ALL the Stops for his Fights!

Brad Pitt, not having taken on a huge amount of action-heavy roles in his career, also put in a lot of work for his physical rigors and fight scenes as Ladybug.

With Pitt nearing 60 years old, he’s still quite nimble and spry as Ladybug. It just goes to show that it’s never too late in life to try new combat arts as well as becoming an action star!

“Bullet Train” arrives in theaters on August 5th, stay tuned to KFK for more info as it arrives!

  1. It has been so long since we got a top 10 movies/action scene list. Is it possible to do a top 10 combining 2020 and 2021 I know it has been slow years but I’m sure there were noteworthy movies from them worth mentioning even if it is top 8 or 6
