Wushu champion Samantha Win has performed stunt work on numerous action movies, and she’s been a particularly noteworthy presence in the DCEU.
Playing both the Kryptonian warrior Car-Vex in “Man of Steel” and the Amazon Euboea in “Wonder Woman” and “Zack Snyder’s Justice League”, Sam’s talents as both a stuntwoman and martial artist have made her a great contributor to crafting the action scenes of all three superhero movies.
When it comes to Wonder Woman specifically, Sam also channeled Diana Prince herself in an early battle scene pre-viz for the movie, which she released on social media just recently, see below!

Sam also explained some of the behind-the-scenes work and talent behind the astonishing pre-viz, which can also be read below.
While there isn’t a direct equivalent action sequence in “Wonder Woman” for the above pre-viz, stunt and fight rehearsal videos like this are often just as fun for action fans as the finished product itself is.
Even in isolation, the Wonder Woman pre-viz is an absolute feast for the eyes of action and superhero fans alike. With the weaponry of the Amazons by her side and movie magic to grant her the powers of Diana, Sam excels as Wonder Woman battling what appears to be soldiers on the battlefield in World War I.
Reminiscing on my previz days and finally gonna post this ol’ beaut! Shot, choreographed and edited by the one and only – Guillermo Grispo! If you don’t know him – you should! It really was a joy and an honor to don the tiara in pre-production before I had a “real” (still fake)

A former gold medal, and competitive Wushu champion in her native Canada, Sam is well-known to many for her work with Zack Snyder, and not just his aforementioned superhero movies.
Sam also worked on Snyder’s 2011 film “Sucker Punch” and his 2021 zombie-heist movie “Army of the Dead”, in which she portrayed the role of the mercenary, Chambers.
Sam also rose to prominence in her role as Princess Kitana in season 1 and season 2 of “Mortal Kombat: Legacy”, and also channeled the best live-action Chun Li to date in the Chun Li vs Tifa episode of Ultimate Fan Fights.
One definitely hopes that Samantha Win’s career in action movies continues its upward trajectory after the energy she’s brought to her stunt career and to Chambers in “Army of the Dead”.
While the “Wonder Woman” pre-viz shared by Sam wasn’t ultimately utilized for the film itself, it’s nevertheless a blast to see the making of an action scene with stunt pros like Samantha Win and Guillermo Grispo putting their finesse on the hard-fought battle of an Amazon warrior!
