Triple Threat: New Trailer Arrives Online!

The first trailer for the highly anticipated team-up of martial arts masters that is “Triple Threat” got fans hyped for the film expecting it to drop in 2018. Needless to say, we’ve had to wait a little longer, but patience is a virtue, as they say. Fans can now mark their calendars for the release of “Triple Threat”, which is set to make its debut in China on February 28th. Fortunately, moviegoers in the English-speaking world won’t have to wait much longer, with the film set to release in North American theaters and VOD platforms on March 22nd, with a one-night wide release event on March 19th. With the long-awaited release date of “Triple Threat” now in sight, fans can also whet their appetites with the new, action-packed trailer which you can see below!

“Triple Threat” is set to be a martial arts ensemble like no other. Under the direction of stunt veteran Jesse Johnson, the film brings together a dream team of action movie royalty, including Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Tiger Chen, Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, Celina Jade, Michael Bisping, and Jeeja Yanin. Jesse’s fellow stunt vet Tim Man also serves as fight choreographer, having previously excelled in this arena in “Ninja II: Shadow of a Tear” and “Accident Man”.

Here’s an official synopsis that gives fans a glimpse of what “Triple Threat” has in store:

“A down-and-out team of mercenaries must take on a group of professional assassins and stop them before they kill their target: a billionaire’s daughter intent on bringing down a major crime syndicate. This breakneck thriller teams over half a dozen of the world’s biggest action stars for the martial arts event film of the year.”

The new trailer reveals a bit more of what “Triple Threat” entails, but like the first trailer, it also keeps things short and sweet. Indeed, the newest trailer seems to be keeping the contents of “Triple Threat” on a “need to know” basis – and right now, all you need to know is that it’s 96 intense minutes of supercharged martial arts masters going mano-a-mano. Per the film’s production background, Chinese audiences will be the first to see what “Triple Threat” has up its sleeve, but with Western audiences not far behind, it won’t be long before the first reactions start kicking off!

Stay tuned for more of KFK’s “Triple Threat” coverage as it begins to roll out to audiences worldwide.
