Close Range teaser arrives!

Lovers of martial arts rejoice – Scott Adkins and Isaac Florentine are at it again! After just recently wrapping up their upcoming seventh collaboration, “Close Range”, the first teaser trailer has already made its way online, and man, does it deliver the goods!

This is arguably more of a clip rather than a conventional trailer, but it does the job by following one basic principle – simplicity. What’s the premise of the film? What is the mission Scott’s character is embarking on? Whose clocks are being cleaned by our hero? The new teaser clip answers all of these questions with, “It’s on a need-to-know basis, and right now, this is all you need to know!”

Even better is what the clip seems to indicate – specifically, that the camera work utilized during the dojo fight in “Ninja II: Shadow of a Tear” will also be put to use here. Once the action starts, the camera follows our hero to the very end and does not cut AT ALL! Hopefully, we’ll get to see some of Jeremy Marinas’ hard work on the film before long (check out his duel with Tiger Chen in “Man of Tai Chi” if you haven’t already.)

“Close Range” will be released later this year. Be sure to follow the film’s official Facebook page for more information!
