Adkins, White, Park and Johnston board Accident Man!

Director Jesse Johnson’s upcoming action thriller “Accident Man” has gained significant attention online with the news that British action star Scott Adkins will headline the film. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg for fight fans, given that Scott will reportedly be joined by his “Undisputed 2” co-star Michael Jai White, along with newcomer Amy Johnston of the upcoming “Lady Bloodfight”, and wushu maestro Ray Park of “Star Wars” and “G.I. Joe” fame. It seems that “Triple Threat” isn’t the only upcoming martial arts film to be populated by an “Expendables”-esque ensemble!

The film will mark Scott’s third collaboration with Jesse Johnson, following 2005’s “Pit Fighter” and next year’s “Savage Dog”. “Twilight” star Ashley Greene and Ray Stevenson of the “Thor” series are also set to appear in the film, while Tim Man will step into the role of fight choreographer, having previously collaborated with Scott in 2013’s “Ninja II: Shadow of a Tear” and the upcoming “Boyka: Undisputed“.

“Accident Man” began life in the UK cult comic book series “Toxic!” and followed the adventures of assassin Mike Fallon, who specializes in making his hits look like accidents. Fallon has a change of heart when his ex-wife is murdered and goes on a revenge-mission to uncover the identity of her killer. As it is, “Accident Man” is something of a passion project of Scott’s, as he recently explained at the UK premiere of “Doctor Strange”.
