Tiger Zinda Hai Trailer goes Viral on YouTube!

Just ICYMI, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming action adventure “Tiger Zinda Hai” (Tiger is Alive) is prepping to blow Indian adueinces away on December 22nd. The sequel to Khan’s 2012 hit “Ek Tha Tiger”, the trailer is awash with blazing guns, flying fists, and aerial leg locks and belongs on any self-respecting action fan’s most anticipated list, as you can see below!

While international viewers will have plenty to get thrilled about for Tiger’s sophomore outing, the film will likely hit Indian audiences a little closer to home, given that the plotline of the film is based upon the real-life 2014 kidnapping of forty-seven Indian nurses by Iraqi terrorist group ISIL. Indeed, it’s actually the second Bollywood film of 2017 to be based upon this very incident, following March’s “Take Off”.

Judging from the trailer, “Tiger Zinda Hai” seems to be positioning itself as a kind of “John Wick” in a war zone thriller, with a similar blend of gunplay and martial arts action. Salman Khan previously showcased his physical abilities in last year’s MMA drama “Sultan” as the film’s eponymous wrestling champion and for “Tiger Zinda Hai”, he looks to be dabbling a bit more in the fist and foot side of combat.

His co-star, Katrina Kaif, shows herself to be quite the physical specimen in her own right with the amount of kicking and flipping she does in the trailer. It’s probably safe to say that Khan and Kaif have certainly set the film up to be a success at the box office next month, given that “Tiger Zinda Hai” has claimed the title of Most Liked Movie Trailer on YouTube – taking that crown from the previous record-holder, 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens“!

And of course, what would a Bollywood film be without a dashing song and dance number to go with it?

“Tiger Zinda Hai” is set to release in India on December 22nd, with releases in international territories to follow. Stay tuned for more info on the film as it arrives! What are your thoughts on this movie? Join in the conversation on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for more!
