Standing at 5′ 8″ and renowned for his speed, agility, and impeccable technique, Superlek has mesmerised audiences with his precise strikes, lightning-fast kicks, and flawless clinch work.

Superlek’s kicks in particular strike fear into his opponents, causing serious damage to whoever is on the wrong end of them.

Each exceptional Superlek bout here demonstrates his mastery and artistry of this ancient martial science. So, without further ado, let’s delve into Superlek’s Top 5 Muay Thai Finishes! (in descending order)

5. Vs. Nabil Anane – ONE Friday Fights 22 (June 23, 2023)

Nabil possesses a clear height advantage in this matchup. Nevertheless, Superlek showcases indifference to the disparity, relentlessly targeting Nabil’s legs with exquisite calf kicks throughout the opening round.

The turning point arrives at precisely 1:17, where Superlek launches a precise one-two combination — first striking the mid-section and then seamlessly transitioning to the head, causing Nabil to stagger as he attempts to evade.

The anguish on Nabil’s face is palpable, culminating in a stunning finish with a straight body shot that brings an exquisite end to the fight.

4. Vs. Walter Goncalves – ONE Fight Night 1 (August 26, 2022)

Low kicks fly out at the beginning of round one from Superlek but at 2:32 of the round Goncalves manages to kick the front left calf of Superlek, tripping him as Superlek falls to the ground. The referee resets and we’re off again almost immediately.

The speed from both fighters is impressive as Goncalves catches some kicks and reacts with punches to the face with Superlek blocking them.

Another clinch against the cage resets the fight and we see a stare-down as the referee restarts the fight. Almost immediately we see Superlek staring his opponent down and not looking away for a second.

A gorgeous left counter punch from Superlek sees Goncalves stumbling back to the ground but the fight isn’t over yet as Goncalves immediately raises his arms as if to say ‘I’m still up for it!’.

Stunned, Goncalves runs backwards to defend himself from Superlek’s onslaught. However, Goncalves’s defence proves insufficient as Superlek unleashes a magnificent elbow strike, executed with the precision of a jab, piercing through Goncalves’s guard like a spear.

This stunning display marked the end of the fight in a truly captivating, and awe-inspiring fashion.

3. Vs. Superball – Rajadamnern Stadium (April 7, 2016)

A traditional Muay Thai Battle between the Supers, Superlek and Superball match up here with a trade of powerful kicks. Taking turns to test each other’s guard in the first round, they do their best to open each other up and wear each other down.

At the beginning of round 3 we see Superball throw out a rally of left kicks which force Superlek away from the ropes. Superlek responds with low kicks and eventually throws a lovely combo of a counter left hook and uses his momentum to swing his right leg like an axe straight into Superball’s midsection.

Trading kicks, they soak up each other’s pressure and might and later on in the round Superlek almost takes out Superball’s leg and trips him but Superball uses all his might to stand.

With 1:40 on the clock, the fight ends with a gorgeous low kick which lands right on Superball’s shin forcing him down, but the referee can see that he can no longer fight and ends it right there.

The sheer power of a low kick ending a fight is a rare thing to witness and shows how devastating a Muay Thai kick can really be.

2. Vs. Danial Williams – ONE Fight Night 8 (Mar. 25, 2023)

Here Superlek defended his Flyweight Kickboxing World Title.

Jumping straight into the action, with 1:28 left in the first round Williams catches Superlek’s kick and counters with a straight right, surprising Superlek. The rest of the round is calm and calculated as both throw calf kicks to weaken their opponent.

Superlek’s kicks though are devastating, with 24 seconds left in the round and we can hear the sound of a low calf kick reverberate throughout the entire stadium.

Round 2 begins and getting straight in with a faster start from both fighters, we see some ferocious kicking and even a back kick from Superlek, as though imitating a horse.

Superlek’s kicks really are starting to hurt Williams here, as his left side starts quickly turning as red as the wrist straps on Superlek’s gloves!

At 1:27 on the clock Superlek starts a beautiful combination of a double jab and a flying knee. Really capitalising on the now fatigued Williams.

Round 3 commences as we see Superlek try combinations of knees and kicks off the bat. Even a clinched knee sneaks in spotlighting a very deceptive, quick, and powerful fighter.

With 1:33 left on the clock we see a beautiful kick to William’s midsection followed by an exquisite kick to the head ending the fight in a sudden and dramatic fashion. What a fight this was, and what a finish!

1. Vs. Bangpleenoi – Rajadamnern Stadium (May 9, 2016)

Here was a tough fight that ended in round two, but the speed of the finish was so fast, I had to rewind it a few times just to be sure I was registering what I was witnessing.

Low kicks from Superlek frustrated Bangpleenoi as he came at Superlek to try and close the distance.

Now this is the part that is hard to see, the most deceptive elbow from Superlek shocks the world and Bangpleenoi as moments after the elbow, Bangpleenoi stumbles to the ground.
