3. Carlos Neyheban Alvarez vs. Mirza Aliev
In this MMA showdown, Team Lakay’s very own, the 4-1 Carlos Neyheban Alvarez, took on the 2-0 Mirza Aliev in a contest marked by Alvarez showcasing Team Lakay’s signature wushu striking prowess.
Round 1 began with both fighters testing each other on the feet, until Alvarez knocked down a chagrin Aliev with a left hook at 0:43. Alvarez even showcased his grappling, securing a takedown at 1:56.
Aliev got back up at 4:04, and the momentum changed as it was all about Aliev pressuring Alvarez until the end of the round.
In round 2, Alvarez started by securing a takedown at 0:15, quickly gaining top position and establishing control.
Aliev struggled to escape as Alvarez maintained a dominant position, raining down heavy punches and knees to the head.
Despite Aliev scrambling back up at 3:08, he failed on a takedown attempt at 3:30, allowing Alvarez to reverse and unleash relentless ground and pound, causing the referee to stop the bout at 4:22, giving Alvarez the TKO victory in an impressive showcase of grappling dominance.
2. Mahesuan vs. Panlam
The 78-19 Mahesuan faced the 3-2 Panlam in a Muay Thai bout that ended in quick and decisive fashion, with Mahesuan putting on a show of technical striking and raw power.
Round 1 started with Mahesuan knocking down Panlam in just 10 seconds with a 1-2 punch. However, after this, the two engaged in mostly a technical, yet aggressive boxing fight.
Nonetheless, Mahesuan countered the forwarding Panlam with a right hook that caused Panlam to hit the canvas again at 2:15.
Panlam tried pressuring Mahesuan again, only to be countered with a left hook at 2:32.
After this third knockdown, the referee intervened under the Muay Thai three-knockdown rule, calling the fight at 2:36 and awarding Mahesuan a TKO win.
1. Egor Bikrev vs. Gingsanglek
The night’s top finish came from Russia’s Egor Bikrev, who came in with an undefeated 6-0 record to take on the 41-11 Gingsanglek in a fast-paced Muay Thai clash.
Despite the huge disparity in experience, Bikrev’s impressive striking prowess left a lasting impact on the audience in this short bout.
Round 1 saw Bikrev and Gingsanglek start with a feeling out process, but Bikrev found his rhythm early, landing clean shots in volume as he closed the distance.
At 1:35, he unleashed a right-cross-left-hook counter that connected flush, sending Gingsanglek crashing to the mat.
The referee stepped in immediately, but Gingsanglek struggled to get back up, awarding Bikrev a TKO victory at 1:45.
