Trailer for Redeemer debuts online!

Chilean action star Marko Zaror is once again ready to lay the smackdown on all the ignorant masses who think that a man of his size and build can’t soar through the air like Tony Jaa! For a little verification of that, check out the trailer for his upcoming martial arts thriller “Redeemer” below!

The official synopsis for the film reveals what fans can expect (aside from the revelations provided by the trailer, that is)!

Marko Zaror is Pardo, a man with a heavy burden on his soul, looking for a way to atone for his past sins. As a vigilante, he stops criminals in their tracks and gives them only one chance to ask for forgiveness. Bad guys being bad guys, they rarely listen, and so Pardo disposes of them in any gruesome way available to him at the moment. He’s just as likely to impale a man’s face with a giant hook as he is to beat someone bloody with good old-fashioned punches and flip-kicks. When he crosses paths with Bradock (Noah Segan), Pardo suddenly has an entire criminal organization to contend with and finds himself caring for a woman for the first time since the tragedy that sent him on his current course.

Thus far, “Redeemer” is living up to the hype – Lee Golden of Film Combat Syndicate has already given the film two thumbs up, and following its unveiling at the American Film Market, the film is now set to make its way into U.S. theatres next summer. That might have something to do with the fact that Mr. Zaror looks like he could teach a thing or two to Baseball Bat Man of “The Raid 2”, but its all speculation!

Stay tuned to KFK for more info on “Redeemer”, and be sure to keep your eyes on Zaror’s venture into the superhero genre with his next film, “Zambo Dende”!
