Razor Sharp: Renegade trailer is here!

What would futuristic sci-fi thrillers like “Total Recall” and “Blade Runner” look like with a generous helping of martial arts action thrown in? That’s a question that has surely been on the mind of martial arts fans across the globe for years, but thankfully, we at last have our answer in the form of the trailer for the upcoming “Razor Sharp: Renegade”.

Under the direction of filmmaker Marcus Perry, accomplished stuntwoman Amy Johnston, who will also be seen in the upcoming “Lady Bloodfight” later this year, assumes the role of professional thief Veronica Sharpe. “Renegade” marks the second iteration into Perry’s long-gestating concept for “Razor Sharp”, which began as a short film released in 2006, with Cassidy Freeman of “Smallville” fame assuming the lead.

The official synopsis gives a glimpse at what fans can expect from “Renegade”:

“Impenetrable fortresses, SWAT-trained security forces, the occasional piece of malfunctioning gear; it’s all in a night’s work for quirky corporate thief, Veronica Sharpe.

But when she breaks into the most high-tech weapons manufacturing facility in the world, her business turns anything but usual when the technology she’s there to steal is revealed to be a brilliant little girl with a devastating secret.

Set in a stylish near-future, and loaded with action and laughs, RAZOR SHARP is one thrill-ride that would be criminal to miss.”

I’m 48 years old and for 7 years I’ve been watching martial arts films.
My favourite actors are Scott Adkins, Sammo Hung, Yayan Ruhian, Iko Uwais and many others.
I’ve always been enthusiastic about Asian fighting films, and now those from USA, UK etc.
I am so glad I found you guys, you’re great! Friendly greetings from Zurich, Switzerland!
