Never Back Down 3 underway in Thailand!

After making his directorial debut in 2011’s “Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown“, Michael Jai White is set to return to the director’s chair once more with “Never Back Down 3”! White had previously teased the film via social media last fall, and the third Beatdown is now set to begin filming in Thailand. A fitting location, given Jeeja Yanin’s involvement in the film!

White will also reprise his role of ex-convict and former MMA-fighter Case Walker from the second film, who mentors a group of young college students (two of them played by real-life MMA champs Todd Duffee and Scot Epstein.) The film will reportedly follow the events of the second film with Walker making a return to his MMA career.

Yanin’s role in the film and whether of the second film’s cast or fight choreographer Larnell Stovall will return are not confirmed at present. However, White also tweeted out a pic with his “Skin Trade” co-star Tony Jaa, describing as “catching up with a friend.” Will Tony Jaa be a contender for the third Beatdown? Stay tuned for more info on “Never Back Down 3” as it arrives!
