As the wait for the release of 2014’s most eagerly anticipated martial arts film The Raid 2 finally near it’s end, it goes without saying that it’s getting harder to make it to the finish line without bursting into flames from the excitement of it all! The Raid: Redemption took the world by storm in 2012, and the sequel is poised to do the same to an even greater degree this time!
Since the film’s premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, the buzz it has gotten has been just as explosive and phenomenal as its predecessors. Fans in New York City and Los Angeles, along with some of us here at KFK, have already seen the film and joined in the chorus of applause it is receiving. Mainstream audiences in the U.S. and U.K. will finally have the get to see the film on April 11th!
But, if the wait is becoming too hard to bear (perfectly understandable if that’s the case!), fear not! You can whet your appetite for what’s to come with two new clips from the film that have been released online, ahead of our interview with director Gareth Evans, coming this week!
