“John Wick: Chapter 4” Coming Next March 24 — See the Trailer!

“Have you given any thought…to where this ends?” Those are the words intoned by Hiroyuki Sanada in the new teaser for “John Wick: Chapter 4”, words directed as its titular assassin, but words probably nowhere on the radar of the average fan of the “John Wick” franchise!

“John Wick” fans are far more concerned with how it all continues, with “John Wick: Chapter 4” arriving in theaters around the world on March 24, 2023 and the new teaser trailer for the movie giving the first glimpse at everything the movie is just waiting to open the floodgates on!

Picking up after John Wick and the Bowery King form an alliance to defeat the High Table of the assassin underworld at the end of “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum”, “John Wick: Chapter 4” was originally slated to hit theaters in May 2021.

COVID Stopped Play…

Needless to say, the pandemic caused the most unexpected of disruptions, with “John Wick: Chapter 4” undergoing further delays (also partly due to Keanu Reeves’ scheduling with “The Matrix Resurrections”).

While March 24 is still a longer way off than most John Wick fans would prefer, the utterly captivating teaser for his next chapter is plenty to kickstart excitement for it into overdrive.

Keanu Reeves’ Upcoming Comic Book Series: Brzrkr

Keanu Reeves is still a legend among action stars, committed as ever to the incredible fight scenes and gun-fu that are John Wick’s bread and butter. Readers should be sure to give Mr. Reeves their thanks for dropping in on the “Directors on Directing” panel at 2022’s San Diego Comic-Con, alongside the franchise’s running director Chad Stahelski, to debut the teaser online (Keanu Reeves also hosted a panel at this year’s Comic-Con for his comic book series “Brzrkr”, which has an equally exciting movie and anime series in the works with Netflix).

As the teaser shows, there seems to be no end in sight for the “John Wick” franchise continually topping itself with the unfolding mythos of its world and action sequences that are all but without comparison in today’s action movie landscape, especially when it comes to martial arts.

Ensemble Martial Arts Cast: Donnie Yen, Marko Zaror & Scott Adkins

“John Wick: Chapter 4” is even more exciting for action fans with the additions of Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Marko Zaror, and Scott Adkins to its ensemble cast.

While Scott doesn’t seem to be visible and Marko is only briefly glimpsed at a few points, the “John Wick” franchise’s basic modus operandi ensures that audiences will be blown away by what they bring to the table.

That’s also the case for Donnie Yen and Hiroyuki Sanada, with the teaser showing both of them in kicking and sword-wielding action against one another, including Donnie against John.

Stay Tuned…the Wait’ll be Over Before You Know it!

Boy! it’s going to be an arduous wait for “John Wick” fans, action aficionados, and all of us here at Kung Fu Kingdom for March 24 to finally herald the arrival of “John Wick: Chapter 4”! However the new teaser at least gives the world a sample to play ad infinitum alongside its upcoming marketing materials between now and then.

Until March 24^th  finally arrives, all we can say is bring on “John Wick: Chapter 4”!
