Zambo Dende fight clip debuts online!

Marko Zaror is ready to leap back into action once again in the upcoming short film “Zambo Dende”, based on the acclaimed Colombian comic book of the same name. The short is set to serve as a the basis for a feature film, which will follow the exploits of its title character, a superhero with tremendous martial arts abilities who fights for the freedom of oppressed slaves in 16th century Colombia. The newly released pre-viz footage gives fans a glimpse at what “Zambo Dende” has in store!

Larnell Stovall is the man behind the clip’s top-notch fight choreography and Marko is perfectly suited to bring the 16th century crusader to life. “Zambo Dende” will also mark one of the final appearances of the late Darren Shahlavi, who tragically passed away this past January, and as you can see in the clip, he’s at the top of his game as both a martial artist and a villain.
