Vengeance of an Assassin clip released!

As if the knowledge of “Vengeance of an Assassin”, the final film of Thai action legend Panna Rittikrai, being released in Thailand last week wasn’t enough of a tease! As if the behind the scenes featurettes weren’t enough to make you want to book a flight to Bangkok for the weekend! Now a clip from the film itself makes its way online, one that gives Stephen Chow’s “Shaolin Soccer” a run for its money!

Panna Rittikrai, his stunt team, and his leading man Dan Chupong must have been on a quest to outdo the brutality of hockey or American football with this sequence. Just imagine how bruised, broken, black and blue most of us would be after a soccer game crossed with a Muay Thai match! If you SOMEHOW weren’t swayed by the trailer (in which a character fights off a circle of enemies with a chicken bone!) or the behind-the-scenes footage, this new clip from the film should reassure you that “Vengeance of an Assassin” is a movie that every martial arts lover should have around the top of their Must See list! Let’s just hope it makes its way from Thailand to the English-speaking world before too long!
