Van Damme to join Kickboxer reboot!

Fans hoping to seeing martial arts sensations Scott Adkins and Tony Jaa join the upcoming reboot of the 80’s cult classic “Kickboxer“, which has just begun production, were ultimately saddened by the news that both action stars will not be appearing in the film. However, that bad news was almost immediately followed up by the good news specifically, that the original “Nook Soo Kau” himself, Jean-Claude Van Damme, will be joining the film in a mentoring role!

Van Damme is the latest addition to the film’s phenomenal cast, which includes stuntman turned action star Alain Moussi in the role of Kurt Sloan (who will most certainly do the Muscles from Brussels proud after receiving a few pointers from Master Ken!), along with Dave Bautista, recently seen in “The Man with the Iron Fists” and “Guardians of the Galaxy”, and UFC veteran Georges St. Pierre, fresh off of giving Captain America a run for his money in this spring’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”.

Also joining the film are veteran martial artists T.J. Storm and Matthew Ziff, both of whom will also be seen next in the upcoming martial arts drama ““The Martial Arts Kid”!

Stay tuned for more info on the “Kickboxer” reboot as it arrives!
