Super Bodyguard behind-the-scenes featurettes!

Yue Song’s second movie as director and leading man “Super Bodyguard” hit upon theaters in China and Hong Kong in the weekend just gone and it’s something that no self-respecting martial arts fan should omit from their Most Anticipated list for 2016 – we think it’s certainly worthy of the place it gets on our list.

“Super Bodyguard” follows on the heels of Song’s 2013 debut “King of the Streets” and pairs him opposite Shaolin disciple turned action star Shi Yan Neng, along with Collin Chou of “Flash Point” and “The Matrix Reloaded”. The film was screened late last month at the New York Asian Film Festival and Canada’s Fantasia International Film Festival on July 30th and the word of mouth is quite enthusiastic thus far, as if the absolutely jaw-dropping trailer didn’t already do all the talking.

If you weren’t able to make the festival this year and won’t be able to check the film out during its run in the Far East, fear not – there’s plenty of material to hold your anticipation in check in two newly-released behind-the-scenes featurettes along with a new, action-packed five-minute trailer that’ll ramp the excitement off the charts!

Check out the new featurettes and trailer below along with the synopsis giving a glimpse into what “Super Bodyguard” has in store and stay tuned for more news on the film’s release in the English-speaking world coming real soon!
