Sherif gets on the front foot 30 seconds in and bulldozes his opponent early in the round rushing towards him with a burst of attacks. It continues more than a few times as Sherif tries to finish the fight early with ferocity.
Akiyama does well to defend and steps back to keep his distance. An Akiyama spinning back-kick at 2:08 could have been dangerous, but instead, with 1:58 on the clock we see a lovely, calculated Akiyama cross which buckles a feisty Sherif, forcing him to fall to the ground.
Finishing with a beautiful TKO at 3:04 of the first round. The sheer timing of this strike is definitely one for the highlight reels.
