Yaroslav Amosov- Top 5 MMA Finishes KUNG FU KINGDOM
In a matchup against Mark Lemminger, Amosov displayed his strike force, controlling his opponent and securing a TKO victory between rounds 1 and 2 due to a cut.
The finish highlighted Amosov’s ability to control the pace and ultimately the outcome of the fight.
Heavy shots against the cage forced Lemminger to drop and from there, things only went downhill for Mark.
Defending the Tech-KREP FC Welterweight Championship, Amosov showed off his ground skills with a swift anaconda choke, securing a submission victory 3:20 into the first round.
And what a round it was, almost straight away we see the two in a clinch as the MMA bout turns into a wrestling match quickly into the fight.
Then there’s a breakup from the referee, allowing for somewhat of a fun striking match between the two.
Amosov gets a takedown and another clinch and this is where Oliveira finds things too difficult to handle!
The rounds in this bout were intense but we see that David Rickels appears to be out of gas after the first round
Amosov’s wrestling control usually exhausts his opponents and he does well here with a single leg takedown in the second round.
He aims to tire his opponent and it works. We can see that Amosov decides when he wants his opponent to be on the ground or when he wants him standing.
The swift transitions into half guard and full guard are very impressive.
Then 4:05 into the second round, against a resilient David Rickels, Amosov displayed his versatility, securing a memorable victory with a beautiful D’arce choke.
This finish marked Rickels’ first submission loss in his career, highlighting Amosov’s ability to dominate both on the feet and on the ground.
Making his welterweight debut, Amosov delivered a stunning knockout victory over Diego Gonzalez with precise striking, and a blisteringly-fast, and powerful straight punch that KO’s his opponent at 2:38 into the second round.
It’s hard to believe how versatile this fighter is given his experience as a Sambo fighter.
The speed and precision of his striking are beyond impressive and only back up his amazing wrestling style.
In a captivating display that truly highlights Amosov’s versatile fighting style, the first round unfolds with some breathtaking moments.
At the 29-second mark, Amosov executes a flawless judo hip throw, forcefully slamming his opponent to the mat—a masterful demonstration of technique.
Following this, an emphatic, double leg takedown is executed, where his opponent is lifted off the canvas, allowing Amosov to expertly trap the arm and unleash powerful blows.
His grappling prowess takes centre stage as he effortlessly controls his opponent’s body.
As the round nears its conclusion, with just 30 seconds remaining, Amosov delivers a visually stunning slam by seizing the waist.
In yet another triumphant title defence, Amosov asserts his grappling dominance, ending in a decisive north-south choke that compels Diogo Cavalcanti to submit at 4:48 into the opening round.
A dominant grappler, and one I would love to see transition into the UFC stratosphere. I could only imagine a fight between him and Khamzat Chimaev would be a most challenging bout that would test both of their unbeaten records.
