Z-Team Films is at it again with the pilot for its new web-series, “Drained World”, which has been released through its YouTube channel and which you can see below, followed by a message from Z-Team members Lohan Buson and Fabien Garcia at the end on how you can help contribute to the development of the series!
In addition to his roles of director and fight choreographer, Fabien Garcia portrays our hero Frank, who wants nothing more than to live a life of solitude in his quiet forest dwelling in the year 2080. Unfortunately, the outbreak of World War III has brought about the downfall of civilization, and even venturing to a nearby creek for a cool drink of water calls upon Frank to unleash punishing martial arts skills to make it back in one piece.
“Drained World” marks the next major project for Z-Team Films following the release of their first feature film, “Die Fighting” through Video on Demand platforms last fall. The film was honored with several awards at the 2014 Action on Film Festival, and the Z-Team continued their streak of success at the WideScreen Film and Music Video Festival this past March, where “Drained World” won the award for Best Web-Series. Judging by the pilot above, do you think it’s not damn well justified?
For more info on “Drained World”, including how you can support the series development, be sure to follow the series’ official website, as well as on Facebook and Twitter. While you’re at it, be sure to check out the awesome KFK shout out video by Lohan and Fabien!
