Bruce Lee tribute video

42-years ago today, the legendary Bruce Lee passed on. Four decades after his untimely death, countless people across the planet still revere him as one of those rare people who come along every generation; whose lives change the world and whose impact never erases from our collective memory. In his all-too-short 32 years, he became immortalised for all time as an innovator in the arena of physical fitness, a guru in the realm of martial arts, a dynamic powerhouse in the genre of martial arts cinema, and a philosopher whose wisdom is as flexible as water itself – formless, shapeless, able to fit into any container and adapt to any possible situation or indeed altercation!

Bruce Lee was born Lee Jun-fan on 27th November 1940. He went on to become a renowned martial artist, action film actor, martial arts instructor, philosopher, filmmaker, and the founder of JKD (Jeet Kune Do).

Lee was the son of Cantonese opera star Lee Hoi-Chuen. He is widely considered by commentators, critics, media and other martial artists to be one of the most influential martial artists of all time, and a pop culture icon of the 20th century. He is often credited with helping to change the way Asians were presented in American films. He trained predominantly in the art of Wing Chun and later combined this with other influences from various sources, in the spirit of his personal martial arts philosophy, which he dubbed Jeet Kune Do (The Way of the Intercepting Fist). He died from a brain aneurism after suffering an allergic reaction to a painkiller in Kowloon Tong on 20th July, 1973, at the age of just 32.

On this day in 1973, Bruce Lee passed on from this world, but he left behind a legacy that continues to amaze, thrill and inspire. This is our short tribute video highlighting some of his incredible skills from his films.

Today, let us all spare a moment for the Dragon and pay homage to one who shook the world and who continues to challenge us all to rise to our highest potentials, likewise in the martial arts and life itself. Hope you enjoy the video and feel free to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
Walk on dear readers!
