Brothers behind the scenes!

The heat is on for the much-hyped Indian martial arts film “Brothers”, a Bollywood remake of the 2011 MMA drama “Warrior”, which sees Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra assume the roles originally portrayed by Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy.  They play two estranged brothers solving their sibling rivalry in the only sensible way possible – by facing off in a highly publicized MMA tournament. Of course, a film this action-heavy must be carefully coordinated, and the newly released behind-the-scenes featurettes gives audiences a glimpse of what to expect!

The film’s action direction is being handled by stunt performers Eric Brown and Justin Yu, along with Emmanuel Manzanares and Vlad Rimburg of the upcoming “Unlucky Stars“. Dutch superkicker Ron Smoorenburg will also be seen in the film in the role of Hammer, one of the opponents the two titular brothers must fight past in order to get to each other.

“Brothers” is set to debut in India on August 14th. Stay tuned for more information as the film nears its release!
