Kung Fu Jungle Red Carpet Special!

Kung-fu Kingdom had the pleasure of being amongst the first to see Hong Kong action star Donnie Yen’s latest movie.

The film had its world premiere on 12th October in London’s famous Leicester Square on Europe’s largest IMAX screen, as part of the BFI’s London Film Festival. “Kung Fu Jungle” has a wider Asian release on 31st October and you can read our review here.

In attendance were the director Teddy Chen, actress Michelle Bai, and the star himself, Donnie Yen!

Kung Fu Kingdom were on the red carpet to capture the event and have a few words with the star of “Iron Monkey”, “Flash Point”, “Kill Zone“, “Ip Man” (1 & 2), to name a mere fraction of his hit films.

Hundreds of fans gathered at the event and not even the pouring rain could dampen their spirits. With his wife, Cissy Wang at his side, Donnie appeared to huge cheers and camera flashes, as everyone clamoured to get a glimpse of one of Asia’s most popular film stars.

After the film’s screening, there was a brief question and answer session with Donnie Yen, Michelle Bai and Teddy Chen.
