Interview with Teddy Chen!

We had the privilege of interviewing “Kung Fu Jungle” director, Teddy Chen in London following the world première of the movie.

Teddy is a Hong Kong film director, producer, writer and actor who has worked in the industry for over thirty years. He has previously directed Donnie Yen in “Bodyguards and Assassins” (2009) and Jackie Chan in the comedy “The Accidental Spy” (2001). As an actor he appeared in the hit crime film “Infernal Affairs II” (2003), and he created the original serial-killer story for “Kung Fu Jungle”.

During our interview we discovered that Teddy is a martial artist himself, and gained some fascinating insights into his movie-making method. As such, we have divided his interview into two parts which you can see here:

Part 1:

Part 2:

We hope you enjoy learning from the fascinating and informative Mr Teddy Chen as much as we did!

You can see our full interview with Donnie’s co-star and love interest Michelle Bai!
