Headshot Teaser Trailer Released Online!

News has been a little scant on “Headshot”, the upcoming martial arts action thriller featuring “The Raid” star Iko Uwais as an amnesiac on the run, aside from the film making its world premiere just last weekend at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. The film’s teaser trailer arrived ahead of its premiere, which will no doubt simultaneously excite and tease anyone that wasn’t in the vicinity of the Film Fest!

Under the direction of Timo Tjahjanto and Kimo Stamboel (collectively known as The Mo Brothers), Iko portrays an amnesia-stricken man known only as Ishmael, whose violent past is soon in pursuit of him. Iko will also be joined in the film by his co-stars from “The Raid 2”, Very Tri Yulisman and Julie Estelle, aka “Baseball Bat Man” and “Hammer Girl”.

The teaser for “Headshot” isn’t the only news on what Iko Uwais has coming up to emerge this week. News has also dropped that he’ll be appearing alongside Tony Jaa, Tiger Chen, and Angelababy in director Gary Mak’s upcoming “Makeshift Squad”, which is being described as an “Asian Expendables”. Not many other details are available at the moment, but that’s certainly all anyone needs to know they have to save a date for it!

Stay tuned for more info on “Headshot” and “Makeshift Squad” as it arrives. In the meantime, be sure to check out our previous interviews with Iko, Yayan Ruhian and “The Raid 2” auteur Gareth Evans!
