Farewell, Berlin Wall coming soon!

When most of us hear the mention of the Berlin Wall, we think of the moment that marked the definitive end of the Cold War in the late 1980’s. However, that term will carry a very different meaning in the upcoming Vietnamese film “Farewell, Berlin Wall”.

Based on the novel “Quyen”, the film follows its titular character from Vietnam, played by Vu Ngoc Anh, who migrates to Russia with her husband and are ultimately forced to flee to Germany, only for her to be kidnapped the vicious gangster Hung.

Veteran martial artist Gary Daniels makes an appearance in the film in the role of Hans, a German native and close friend of Quyen’s.

“Farewell, Berlin Wall” is set to make its debut this weekend in Vietnam. Stay tuned for more info on its upcoming international release!
