Marko Zaror’s superhero trailers arrive!

Latin America’s gravity-defying king of action Marko Zaror is at it again in not one but two upcoming superhero properties, namely “The Green Ghost” and “Zambo Dende”. In the case of the former, the short but totally sweet teaser places him opposite Cain Velasquez and Jackie Chan stunt team member Andy Cheng, whom Marko did stunt work with on 2003’s “The Rundown”. Marko will again have the opportunity to flex his villainous muscles after his portrayal of the irredeemably sleazy Dolor in “Undisputed 3: Redemption“, and the addition of glowing red eyes will no doubt play in his favor, as you can see in the trailer below!

While Marko will portray the adversary of The Green Ghost, he will also have the chance to take on the mantle of a superhero himself in the short film “Zambo Dende”, adapted from the Latin American comic book character who fights for the freedom of slaves in 16th century Colombia. The behind the scenes video (below) offers a solid glimpse at what the short has in mind for audiences. “Zambo Dende” also marks one of the final film appearances of the late Darren Shahlavi, who tragically passed away this past January at the age of 42, and the video features an interview with him as well.

Stay tuned for more information on “The Green Ghost” and “Zambo Dende” as they each near their respective release dates!
