Happy Birthday Dan! Today he hits an incredible 78-years old!

For those that need an introduction, here’s the birthday boy facing off against former teacher Bruce Lee in a deleted scene from Game of Death.

He’s a Filipino-American martial arts instructor from California best known as a student of Bruce Lee and renowned authority on Jeet Kune Do, and Filipino Martial Arts including Eskrima and Silat. He also acts having had minor roles in films such as Game of Death, Killer Elite, Out for Justice, Big Trouble in Little China and Redbelt starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Tim Allen.

A little known fact, Dan introduced Bruce Lee to the nunchaku and after giving him some basic training left Bruce to master the deadly weapon like no one else before him! After Bruce’s death Dan became the principal spokesperson and historian for Jeet Kune Do.
