Chameleon concept screens in London!

The future is bleak in the world of “Chameleon”, the short dystopian sci-fi film directed by award-winning Beau Fowler which recently had a sneak preview in London. The film is set in the post-apocalyptic ruins of Tokyo in 2023, now ruled over by the tyrannical might of U.N.O. government. The Resistance Movement is humanity’s only hope for defeating their oppressive overlords and restoring order in the world. When fierce Resistance warrior Samantha, finds herself captured, she forms an alliance with her two cellmates to escape their interrogators before it’s too late, but the three find themselves caught in a twisted tale of betrayal!

The short features the talents of the director’s sister Francesa Fowler in the role of Samantha, along with Togo Igawa of “Ninja” and “Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist”. Jonathan Power (yes you guessed it, the sports agent!) plays Jack and Joey Ansah’s good friend Amed Hashimi in the role of Samantha’s fellow rebel Kyle, who gets to show off some of his blazing martial arts skills in the film.

“Chameleon” in its current form serves as a proof-of-concept that the makers intend to expand into a feature film. Will the Resistance Movement be able to overcome the nefarious U.N.O. overlords? We’ll just have to wait and see…

Check out some of Beau and Amed’s fine work on “Bound” (Official Selection of Cannes Film Festival SFC 2012).

It also also stars Christian Howard who is well known for his role as Ken in the highly acclaimed “Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist” movie series!
