New Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist teaser arrives!

Yesterday, April 11th arrived at last, and with it, the wide release of “The Raid 2” in the U.S. and U.K. However, as tempting as it may be to bolt straight for the nearest multiplex, you’re going to want to set aside at least a few minutes today to check out the new Ryu-centric teaser trailer for the upcoming web-series “Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist”!

Less has certainly been more, as far as the marketing team behind “Assassin’s Fist” is concerned, and there’s no real reason to wish it be any other way. The new teaser features glimpses of the arduous Ansatsuken training of the series central character Ryu, played by Mike Moh. Like the previous trailer, this one tells fans everything they both want to and need to know about the series – the focus on Ryu and Ken’s training, their relationship with their wise master Gouken, the series’ Japanese setting, and the promise of plenty of the game’s signature special moves and visual style. In short, that “Assassin’s Fist” is everything that the previous “Street Fighter” films were not!

To top it all off, the teaser also finally gives fans a hint of when they’ll get to see the series! What a marvelous addition to this weekend’s main attraction!
