The Transporter Refueled fight clips!

In 2002, Jason Statham shot to action movie stardom and established himself as the quintessential British tough guy with the release of “The Transporter“. The film’s success led to two sequels and a television series, the latter featuring Chris Vance in the role of the titular transporter, Frank Martin. The upcoming prequel “The Transporter Refueled” goes back in time to Frank’s origins, with Ed Skrein stepping into his shoes. Fortunately, fans will be happy to know that despite this being the first Stathamless film in the series, Frank is just as adept a martial arts master as ever, judging by some recently released action clips!

The previous three installments in the series were very good about placing Frank in situations that required him to adapt his fighting skills to a different set of circumstances, everything from battling axe-wielding foes in a narrow hallway to maintaining his balance in an oil slick. “Refueled” seems to be keeping that tradition alive, and as a bonus, we also get to meet Frank’s old man, played by Ray Stevenson. Granted, we can probably rule out Martin and son having to battle Nazi’s while on a quest for the Holy Grail but you never know, eh?

“The Transporter Refueled” opens in the U.S. and U.K. on September 4th. Until then, feast your eyes on the clips below!
