New Iron Fist trailer and action clip released!

The countdown continues for the highly anticipated Netflix debut of the Marvel Universe’s mightiest martial arts master Danny Rand, better known as Iron Fist. With the upcoming series set to hit Netflix next month, fans can sate their appetite with the show’s outstanding final trailer, which you can see below!

The series follows billionaire, kung fu extraordinaire Danny Rand, played by Finn Jones, who returns to New York City after a decade in the mystical city of K’un Lun. To the average New Yorker, Danny is just a run of the mill rich kid in a “Big Lebowski” get up, but that’s only half of his story. During his time in K’un Lun, Danny not only honed his martial arts mastery to absolute perfection, he would also vanquish the immortal dragon Shou Lao the Undying and emerge with the supernatural power of the Iron Fist, which carries with it the ability to focus his chi into his fist, making it as strong as iron!

The superb new trailer isn’t the only tease of K’un Lun’s Living Weapon that Netflix has offered fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe this week. They’ve also been good enough to release a fight clip to give fans a taste of the action the series has in store. However, it shines the spotlight not on Danny himself, but his close ally and fellow martial arts exponent Colleen Wing, played by Jessica Henwick of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and like Jones himself, “Game of Thrones” fame. Check out the clip below to see what Danny’s partner-in-crime-fighting can do!

As if the series’ rapidly approaching release and fantastic YouTube materials preceding it weren’t enough, “Iron Fist” is just the first place where Danny and Colleen will make their mark on Netflix this year. They’ll also be seen this summer in the “Avengers”-esque crossover series “The Defenders”, uniting them with their fellow Marvel superheroes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage hailing from their own respective Netflix series. No less a personage than Sigourney Weaver is slated to appear as the villainous Alexandra, so they’ll clearly need all the help they can get!

“Iron Fist” is set to debut on Netflix on March 17th, with “The Defenders” following sometime this summer. Stay tuned for more info on the series as it drops and check out our official reviews of the first and second seasons of “Daredevil” in the meantime!
